Services and Treatment Approach
Individual Therapy
Maybe you are dealing with a specific issue such as depression/anxiety, family conflict, trauma symptoms, grief. Or, maybe you just feel “stuck.” I am here to help you work through the tough parts of life and get things back on track. For every problem there is a solution. My approach is straightforward, yet compassionate and validating. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to explore your stressors and roadblocks and help you reach your own version of personal growth.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a great way to allow each member to share thoughts and feelings in a validating and productive forum. Whether the goal is better communication skills, improvement of the parent/child relationship, or the development of more effective parenting skills, family therapy is a way to bring the family closer and gain a better understanding of all involved.
Psychological Assessment
Psychological Assessment, also known as psychological testing, is usually comprised of a series of individual testing instruments, administered for the purpose of understanding and providing insights into a person’s behavior, skills, thoughts and personality. These individual tests are then scored and interpreted. From here, a clinical report is put together, combining information from each test used. This allows a psychologist to see the full picture of a person's strengths and limitations.
Testing is valuable tool used by the psychologist to form a true diagnostic picture of the individual, and is often used to formulate a treatment plan and guide therapy. For more information about psychological testing, click on the link below.
